Programmer – Security, Network & Telecom Systems (Verkada Experience)

A fast-growing technology integration firm specializing in the design and deployment of security, network, and telecommunications systems across mission-critical environments. As we scale, we’re looking for a Programmer with hands-on experience in Verkada systems to help us deliver smarter, more connected solutions for our clients.

🧩 About the Role
You’ll play a key role in developing custom integrations, automations, and backend tools that enhance how our systems perform and interact. From cloud-based security platforms to network orchestration and telecom workflows, you’ll help bridge the gap between hardware and software in real-world environments.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrations with Verkada’s cloud-based platform, including APIs for access control, video, and environmental sensors
- Develop scripts and tools to automate system provisioning, monitoring, and reporting
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support network and telecom system deployments
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance across multi-site installations
- Contribute to internal dashboards and client-facing portals for system visibility
- Document workflows, integration logic, and technical processes
- Stay current with Verkada’s evolving product suite and SDKs
- Support cross-functional teams during design, implementation, and post-deployment phases

🎯 Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of programming experience (Python, JavaScript, or similar)
- Proven experience working with Verkada systems and APIs
- Familiarity with network infrastructure, access control, CCTV, and telecom systems
- Experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Bonus: experience with IoT platforms, automation tools (e.g. Node-RED, Zapier), or systems integration in physical security
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
